FXCM is one of the most popular forex brokers due to the tight spreads they provide (as low as 1 pip) however this value changes depending on the open position and market conditions, FXCM.com uses up to ten banks to tighten the spreads as much as possible. however as this is not always the case you have to carefully watch the bid and ask in the platform. They also claim hiding stop loss information from the banks.

Compared to other platforms they provide low spreads the spread on EUR/USD is usually 2 pips and for GBP/USD usually 3 pips.
